Flush Niacin is a member of the family of B vitamins, especially vitamin B3 with inositol. The body uses this vitamin for proper maintenance of cell membranes, the nervous system, and energy metabolism. Niacin supplements are primarily used for healthy cholesterol levels, but doses above 35 mg per day can have unpleasant side effects such as redness of the face and neck, itching or burning of the skin, gastrointestinal complications and fatigue. Vivitar ® Non Flush Niacin is a combination of niacin and inositol, which offers the benefits of niacin, but without the bothersome hot flashes.

Niacin is the ideal way to lower cholesterol. Restriction of diet, and a group of drugs called statins are currently on the road. Only those who can not tolerate statins or with diseases that require the use of statins be excluded yet been investigated. Niacin is one of them. Any form of niacin is useful, but the doses required are much higher than the doses of niacin as a vitamin supplement. Therefore, it is wise to this effect shall be made without medical supervision. Flushing low / absent with extended release formulations. However, differs from individual to individual.
